Introduction
Buddhism has become a way of life in India. It all started when Siddhartha Gautama escaped his life of riches in order to become an "enlightened one," which is why he is now known as the Buddha. This turning point in history came about when the people of India had nothing else to turn to. Siddhartha went on to teach his ways about the lifestyle of an enlightened one to all of India.
